Data Analyst

Jether Energy Research, an AI startup focusing on solving highly challenging problems at the intersection of energy markets, data science and economics is looking for a data Analyst.

What you will be doing:

• Work hands-on on challenging, complex and diverse datasets, develop reports and metrics, and extract insights from our data that will allow our teams to make better and more informed decisions
• Take ownership of data sets and make them more accessible and informative
• Increase business decisions by building and designing monitoring systems, reports, and dashboards
• Evaluate problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
• Ownership of data models, data mapping, classifications and various data re-structuring activities
• Work closely with the data science team
• Come up with new and creative research ideas and insights

What we need you to have:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data/Business/Product Analyst
• Excellent graduates in Finance / Statistics / Econometrics / Mathematics / Engineering 
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, BigQuery- an advantage 
• Passion for technology, data and analytics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• A can-do approach
